Upper Blepharoplasty is a precision eyelid surgery that removes excess skin and sometimes small amounts of fat from the upper eyelids. It’s ideal for people with heavy eyelids, hooded eyes, or sagging skin that makes eyes look tired or affects vision.
By carefully reshaping the upper lid, the treatment opens up the eyes, refreshes your expression, and restores a more youthful look, all while maintaining a natural shape.
We assess your eyelid concerns and goals.
Local anaesthesia ensures comfort.
Tiny incisions remove loose skin or small fat pads.
Fine stitches close the eyelid crease discreetly.
Swelling settles quickly; most return to work in 7–10 days.

Lower eyelid blepharoplasty targets under-eye bags, puffiness, and sagging skin. Excess fat is either removed or repositioned, and the skin is tightened for a smoother, firmer under-eye area.
This treatment restores a refreshed, youthful appearance and reduces shadows or hollows beneath the eyes.
We assess your under-eye concerns and treatment goals.
Local or twilight anaesthesia keeps you comfortable.
A tiny incision removes or repositions fat and tightens skin.
Incisions heal discreetly with minimal scarring.
Swelling fades in 1–2 weeks, revealing smoother under-eyes.

CO₂ laser blepharoplasty is a minimally invasive treatment designed to lift and rejuvenate the eyelids without surgery. It targets mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, and early signs of ageing.
The laser stimulates collagen production, tightens the skin, and smooths wrinkles, delivering refreshed, youthful eyes with minimal downtime.
We assess your eyelids to customise treatment.
Topical or local anaesthesia ensures comfort.
CO₂ laser removes damaged skin and boosts collagen.
Mild redness or peeling lasts 2–5 days as skin tightens.

Upper blepharoplasty removes excess skin, fat, or weak muscle from the upper eyelids. It’s ideal for people with sagging or hooded eyelids, droopy skin that makes the eyes look tired, or obstructed vision caused by heavy lids.
Lower blepharoplasty focuses on eye bags, puffiness, and loose skin beneath the eyes. The surgeon either removes or repositions fat through a small incision inside the eyelid or just below the lashes, resulting in a smoother, refreshed under-eye area.
The CO₂ laser gently resurfaces the delicate eyelid skin, stimulating collagen to tighten, smooth wrinkles, and reduce mild sagging or puffiness, all without scalpels or stitches. It’s best for those with early signs of ageing who want a non-invasive option.
Your choice depends on your concerns and skin condition:
>> Upper blepharoplasty: for droopy lids, heavy folds, or vision obstruction.
>> Lower blepharoplasty: for under-eye bags, puffiness, or hollowing.
>> Non-surgical CO₂: for mild sagging, fine lines, or early ageing signs.
A consultation will determine the safest and most effective option.
Surgical blepharoplasty is done under local or twilight anaesthesia, so you’ll feel only slight pressure or tugging but no pain during the procedure. Mild swelling or soreness after surgery can be managed with pain relief and usually subsides within a few days.
Upper & lower blepharoplasty: usually 45-60 minutes.
CO₂ laser blepharoplasty: typically 30–60 minutes.
You can usually resume light makeup after 7-10 days once the incisions heal and return to exercise after 2-3 weeks, as advised by your surgeon.
Most patients return to normal daily tasks in 7-10 days after surgical blepharoplasty. Bruising or swelling is common but fades in 1–2 weeks.
With CO₂ laser blepharoplasty, there’s mild redness or peeling for 3–5 days, but downtime is much shorter.
Surgical blepharoplasty: Initial results are visible once swelling reduces in 2-3 weeks, with final results in 3-6 months as tissues settle.
CO₂ laser: Improvement in skin texture and tightness appears within 2-4 weeks as collagen rebuilds.
Surgical blepharoplasty often provides results lasting 7-10 years, depending on ageing and lifestyle factors.
CO₂ laser blepharoplasty gives 1-2 years of improvement, and occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended.
All procedures carry small risks such as swelling, bruising, dry eyes, infection, or temporary blurred vision. These are usually temporary and improve with proper care. Serious complications are rare when performed by an experienced surgeon.
Yes. Upper blepharoplasty can help when drooping skin obstructs your upper field of vision, allowing your eyes to feel lighter and vision to improve.
Most patients are in their 30s–60s, but suitability depends on your skin condition and eyelid concerns, not age alone. A consultation ensures the treatment matches your needs.
